Renato Cosimato is a small wine producer from Campania. For him, I created a simple and effective logo that incorporates his initials, as well as a label for his wines. The focal point of the label is the drawing I created. During a visit to his vineyard, it was striking to see how deeply Cosimato is connected to his family traditions. His roots lie in the house where he now runs his business, characterized by arches and staircases. In designing the label, I was inspired by the paintings of Salvador Dalí, De Chirico, Escher, and Bruno Munari’s “Useless Machines.” The result is a three-dimensional house on a two-dimensional surface, evoking a sense of dream and childhood.
