Palazzo Ranieri stands as a distinguished hotel nestled in Paestum, an ancient city resonating with history in the Campania region of southern Italy. This city, founded by Greek colonists in the 6th century BC and originally known as Poseidonia, provides a rich cultural backdrop for the hotel's unique identity.
In crafting the logo, I recognized the significance of establishing a profound connection with the local terrain. To achieve this, I meticulously gathered maps of the city, handpicking fragments from its temples, walls, and streets. These carefully chosen pieces became the building blocks for the distinctive logo, infusing it with the spirit of Paestum's storied past.
The colour palette, thoughtfully selected, pays homage to the nearby sea, just a few steps away from this enchanting city. The hues echo the mesmerizing shades of the waters that grace the region, fostering a visual link between the hotel and its breathtaking surroundings.
Having breathed life into the logo, I extended the design process to encapsulate the entire brand identity, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience that captures the essence of Palazzo Ranieri.
