This captivating project was conceived during my university tenure. Entrusted with the exciting task of selecting a typeface and curating an edition of Baseline magazine, I made a distinctive choice in the form of GT Walsheim—a mesmerizing geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Noël Leu and released in 2010 through the esteemed Swiss foundry, Grilli Type. As users leaf through the magazine, they are invited to immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of various compositions. Notably, in the culminating image, I delved into an intriguing typography experiment. I physically stapled the letters, artfully mirroring them on a cylindrical surface. Capturing the resultant distortion through a series of photographs, I meticulously fashioned a composition that is both visually striking and conceptually unique.
